Great phone. Just bought a forth.
It's fast; takes good pictures; has a good display; is fairly durable.
The best part is the pure Android. I absolutely hate it when phone makers put lipstick on a pig. The only thing you get by dressing up pure Android is a reduced user experience at a higher price. I get the reason. Everyone wants to dress up their phone so they can sell the parts for 2 or 3 times what they are actually worth. But, give me a break. The only one that can pull that off is Apple. So, if wanted to show the world, with my snazzy white head phones that are three times the size they need to be, that I have money to piss away on, what actually... an ecosystem? I'd buy an Apple. True, once upon a time, Apple was actually better. But the better died a long time ago. Now, all they are is overpriced hardware (of debatable quality) and annoyingly incompatible software.
Anyway, that's why I like the A2. It does not play at anything. What you get is what you pay for: great hardware, no gimmicks. I never got the point of a wrap around screen. Costs more so it's harder to hold and/or put a screen protector on? Anyway, I was actually curious if a bezel-free experience was better so I bought an A3. Well, the A3 was (a bit) smaller but thicker, heavier and harder to hold. The kicker was the glass back. It didn't survive its first fall (even with a cover) so I bought another A2. Not saying the A2 will survive hard use all the time, but it's way more durable than the A3 was. So far, one has survived two falls (at speed) off a bicycle with only minor, mostly aesthetic damage. I only take my other one to work, so it doesn't have a scratch yet. I bought a third as a spare (so I won't have to buy another A3) for when I finally destroy the one I go biking with. And, I just bought the fourth for my kid, who is almost ready to upgrade from the A1 she's been using since her old Apple 5, which she loved dearly, was killed off. Way to do it Apple. If they don't upgrade voluntarily, change the software so the hardware stops working. Just be careful not to piss off the person who's actually paying for it.

The only thing I miss is wireless charging.
Hopefully, if they come out with an A4, it will finally have that (and G5, even though I don't really know what I need that for since G4 streams just fine). I also hope it doesn't suck like the A3. Otherwise I'll be stuffed, as finding a decent pure Android isn't as easy as I'd like it to be.
